Third Avenue Cafe
21st Century is about Fusion Food; the fusion of flavours, the fusion of tests, aromas, cuisines, etc. to mention a few.
Cutthroat competition in F&B industry makes the players think out of the box, and Third Avenue Boutique is pushing four sides of the box very well. They have an ample amount of Food Fusions and Mocktails to please the test buds.
It starts with Appetizers and Soup.
I prefer the Appetizers in fried form, and this Cafe doesn’t disappoint in providing the customers (like me) with varieties of Appetizers.
All the elements required to make Appetizer gratifying are taken care of diligently. Baby squids are cooked with fresh celery, chilli, lemon, and garlic that balances the fishy aroma with the sharpness of other ingredients; Baked tacos are mixed and matched with juicy tomatoes and creamy avocadoes, and fried items are topped with cream cheese and spicy sauces at the side. I gave it a shot to ‘Twist Me’ which is fried tender Chicken strips with (potato) fries, and topped with creamy jalapeno cheese. As I mentioned, fried Appetizers are always my favourite, Twist Me made my day.
The enhancer to Appetizer – Soup is a real compliment to your dining experience. We ordered Al Pane – thick tomato soup with sauteed clamps (very artistic combination) and Wild Forest – Creamy mushroom soup.
Both of them elevated my mood to test Appetizer and complimented my visit to the Cafe.
Eight pizzas on the menu and each of them is unique: you just finished the Appetizer and Soup, and another fusion food is ready to make you smile. Half of the pizzas have baby tomatoes as a topping which is very Italian thing, but a thin crust with bigger diameter cannot handle them. I don’t prefer Calamari on pizza since, for me, it demotivates the creamy mouth-fill of pizza, but what I ordered was just edible. Pizza is Good, but with a little smaller size, it could be better.
Salads by the sides are essential in two aspects: health wise and texture wise. Beet Beet salad is pulp of beetroot – boiled & sliced and placed on balsamic vinegar. What a unique idea to form a base of Salad! The juicy and fresh oranges, chives cheese mousse, and cherry tomatoes are there to provide you with the unique experience of Salads. The other five types of Salad are worth trying.
Fresh juices, Homemade tea, Iced coffee, and Hot beverages can be enjoyed sip by sip while enjoying Appetizers and Main Course. They serve fresh Juices and Cocktails.
Hey, did I mention that they bake their own bread and serve as a gesture of complement to food?
I tested the spicy, the sour, the bland, the astringent and couldn’t clear my table without the sweet; therefore, I ordered the Desserts – Aww and Bassboosa.
Believe me, Third Avenue Cafe serves the best Desserts. Uniqueness, balanced sweetness, and right quantity are some highlights.
We go out to dine to experience unusual, right? So, when we want rare, why to go cliche? Do try something like ‘Third Avenue Boutique’. Their plating skills, an ambience, courtesy of staff, service, and perfumes to end your dining time on the aromatic note are worth praising and cherishing. The best thing comes at a high price; this place is so elegant and fancy, you never regret spending a bit more than usual. It is highly recommended for those who love Art and Food at the same time.
